I discovered my love of UX through my journey as a designer.
I began my career serving with AmeriCorps at my local United Way, using my design abilities to support and expand community resources. There, I witnessed the positive impact that good design can achieve: more volunteers recruited, more focused board presentations, and more engaging ways to present outcomes to the community. I made it my mission to spread beautiful, accessible design as widely as possible.
I spent following years as a Graphic Designer, but I transitioned fully to UX/UI after I realized designing interfaces was the most compelling part of my job. I was drawn to the infinite possibilities of digital spaces, and sought to fully understand how to design spaces that better serve the needs of users.
Good UX is necessary within the rapidly evolving technological space. I hope to use my design skills to make the digital world a better place.
